過度依賴 AI，為什麼托福寫作反而拿不到高分？

最近遇到一位英文底子不錯的同學，在準備托福口說與寫作時過度依賴 AI 工具。甚至在寫 Discussion Board 題目時，奮筆疾書兩百多字，結果只拿到 20 分，讓他超傻眼！

AI 雖然能幫助優化用詞與句型，但要小心它淪為「回聲筒」，一味強化既有觀點，反而會誤導練習方向。

以下我們就用托福 Discussion Board「政府是否該支持偏鄉旅遊」的題目，來看這篇「AI 高分」作文有哪些常見問題，並給出正確的寫作方向和建議。

Most economies nowadays rely more on business and productive industries. Remote areas are disadvantaged…. Tourism is then the best way for the locals to boost their economy and spread their culture. The revenue could be used in projects making the business sustainable, such as education for local children or recycling wastes from tourists. Still, tourism requires much advertisement and promotion, which is difficult for the resource-limited regions. The disparity in development of different regions is also highly debatable.

問題 1：結構不清，論點模糊

很多同學常常「寫很多卻講不清楚」。例如：文中雖然提到 economy、culture、sustainability 等抽象概念，卻缺乏具體事例與細節說明。

更讓人混淆的是，在提出支持論點後，又突然跳到 “regions’ disparity is highly debatable” 這個模稜兩可的觀點，導致文章立場模糊。

📍 記住：英文寫作的大忌是「寫很多卻講不清楚」。

問題 2：背景鋪陳過長，導致失焦

以 “Most economies nowadays…”為例，文章一開頭就用了三句來鋪陳背景，結果重點還沒出現，讀者就先失去耐心。

建議濃縮成一句。改寫為：

While most economies nowadays rely more on business and productive industries to create wealth, remote areas remain underprivileged due to geographical barriers.

📍 背景說明不宜佔用過多篇幅，快速切入論點，避免重點失焦。

問題 3：抽象論點太多，缺乏具體例子

托福作文篇幅和作答時間有限，過多的抽象論點難以得到充分解釋與支持。建議聚焦一到兩個核心論點，進行具體闡述並用例子支撐。

高分表達結構示範：以「觀光幫助偏鄉永續發展」為例

• 核心論點：
  I firmly believe that promoting distant communities as travel destinations offers a tangible pathway to sustainable economic growth.
• 解釋說明：
  Tourism, unlike mass production industries, possesses a significantly lower environmental footprint.
• 實際舉例：
  For instance, by strategically advertising the breathtaking natural landscapes and unique eco-tourism concepts of remote indigenous villages, local authorities can attract tourists who appreciate responsible travel. This influx of visitors, who refrain from littering or wasting energy, can generate vital income through local tours or ecological workshops.

📍 立場清楚、並用具體例子說明，才能充分說服讀者。
